In the year 3000 an artificial intelligence takes over the rule over the human race. A renegade rebellious warrior escapes AI enslavement and travels to a rundown time travel facility in hopes of saving the species. The NOC Corporation, a self-built AI facility, controls everything until our protagonist succeeds in sending the NOC3000X1 deck back to 2019 with the simple message - to keep the magic alive.
 The plan worked - people not only received the message of the threat, but discovered advanced technology in the fibers of the playing cards sent back - technologies that would ultimately lead to the now prosperous world - the (new) year 3020, safe from the threat of the AI. The playing cards have been reborn into what we now know as - NOC30000X2
