DeLand's Donut Shop Playing Cards look like a souvenir deck from your favorite bakery, but they hide some devilish secrets!
 
Inspired by the brilliant work of Theodore DeLand over a century ago, Kevin Reylek & Phill Smith have created a fun card game that is not only easy to learn, but easy to play too.
 
The deck is completely custom designed from top to bottom. The bright pink tuck box opens at the side, just like a real donut box.
The card backs feature a borderless design covered with dozens of appetizing donuts. Thanks to the clock-style bite system and color-coded icing, you can identify both the suit and denomination of each card in the deck just by looking at the back.
 
Because of the size of the markers and the color-based color system, the deck can also be read from a reasonable distance!
 
What about the ripple test? Phill & Kevin designed the deck so that every donut changes on every card back. Flipping through the cards like a flip book changes everything - making it impossible for the audience to discover the system.
 
An instruction card is included so you can learn the markings right away.
There are disposable markers on both the backs and fronts that you can use to create some awesome effects.
 
The fronts are in bright pink and chocolate brown, the number cards are decorated with sprinkles. The picture cards were designed as on-duty bakery employees. Two identical jokers with a donut mascot are also included, as is a double-sided magic trick gaff card.
 
Of course, the cards can be handled like a dream. Printed with Penguin Magic's exclusive UltraLux™ finish and AquaFlow™ coating, these traditionally cut cards are ready out of the box for all the tricks and flourishes in your arsenal.
 
The whole thing is rounded off by an individual sticker seal, which is numbered from 3,000 pieces.
