 KOI Playing Cards pays homage to the Koi fish, which in Japan is a symbol of good luck, prosperity and bliss. The beautiful, eye-catching design on the back shows two Koi fish in a circular, swimming movement with metallic gold that glitters against the gleaming white background.  In Japanese, koi is a homophone for another word that means "affection" or "love", so kois are also symbols of love and friendship in Japan.
